Engr. Christopher Nwokolo is an accomplished Chartered Petroleum Engineer with a wealth of experience in the energy sector, spanning over 20 years. He is a member of the Energy Institute UK, which is a testament to his industry expertise and contributions to the sector. Christopher has an impressive track record of delivering results in various areas of the industry, and his areas of expertise include Gas Infrastructure Development Financing, development of organic gas value chains, Gas Commercialization, GHG Emissions Management, Gas Operations and Engineering, Integrated Project Management for oil and Gas Field Development, Front End Development Studies for Oil and Gas Field Development, Upstream and Midstream Business Opportunity Management, Business Development and Strategic Business Intelligence and Advisory for Upstream/Midstream oil and gas asset development and management.

Christopher's passion for energy has made him a trusted advisor to some of the industry's leading players. He began his career with Chevron Nigeria Limited as a Base Business Engineer, focusing on Corporate Asset Management, before moving on to Shell, where he gained extensive experience in upstream operations, engineering, and project management. He later joined Seplat Energy, where he held various leadership roles, including Gas Operations Interface Manager and Gas Business Opportunities Manager. During his time at Seplat Energy, Christopher played a significant role in driving the company's growth and expansion into new markets, developing new business models, and establishing strategic partnerships. He is on the board of several Upstream and Midstream E&P companies and leads the pack in midstream gas solutions and deployment of FLNG Gas Technologies in Nigeria.

In addition to his sterling career, Christopher has also held several leadership positions with SPE Lagos and sits on the council of the Energy Institute, Nigeria. These positions reflect his dedication to advancing the industry and his commitment to the development of the energy sector in Nigeria and beyond.

With a degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Benin and a Master's Degree in Reservoir Evaluation and Management from the Institute of Petroleum Engineering at Heriot-Watt University, Christopher has a strong technical background and a deep understanding of the engineering principles that underpin the energy industry.
